maPlan connects metadata on software and dataset management plans, and ML models, research software and (possibly) datasets involved in the creation of ML models.

It also supports a metadata enrichment cycle which connects RDMO and GitHub/GitLab research software repositories. In this way, researchers can focus on regular tasks and good practices for research software development while maPlan takes care of extracting metadata and providing feedback that can facilitate this extraction by, for instance, improving the README files.
